Then sit back and and immerse yourself in the joy of fishing.
Small mount bass and yellow perch have been introduced to the lake for many decades, with bass being the most abundant. Large smallmouth bass spend their spring months in the shallow parts of the lake, spawning. They are aggressive and will strike on most floating objects near the surface. They migrate, from late spring until early fall, into deeper part of the lake where the water is cooler.
Children’s favourite are the yellow perch, which are easy to catch on bait, lures and flies and are generally found around reeds, floating docks and any submerged structures.
Trout fishing is known to be best in spring and fall when the water is cooler, but catching them by trolling in deeper water is very possible during the summer months.
